My name is Virgil Demitrius Melvin.  I appreciate you taking the time to read my posts, my thoughts, and my perspectives on the various topics I address.  I find that most of my cognitive processes begin somewhere within the seemingly limitless bounds of my imagination.  Expressing those thoughts in a way that the reader understands is relatively simple, depending on who the reader is.  But the most challenging aspect of my writing is putting the words down in a way that satisfies my personal standard of excellence.  Sometimes, I feel I don’t quite reach that goal, but you know what they say…we’re always our own worst critic.
